Giveway Winners

Congratulations to Carla Holsonbake who was the winner of our dessert giveaway! She was the first sister to submit a breakfast or brunch recipe along with a picture for our recipe blog. Click the link to our recipe blog to see her delicious Reese's Peanut Butter Pancakes recipe.

There are FREE eggs waiting for anyone who submits an egg recipe by the end of January. Rachel Hansen was the first to take advantage of this giveaway by submitting a recipe for Egg-Drop Porridge.

Any Monica Ward sister who submits an egg recipe for our new recipe blog will receive one dozen FREE fresh brown organic eggs from free range chickens.

Give a Day - Get a Disney Day

This month our Relief Society is stressing FRUGALITY, so how would you like to take your family to Disneyland for FREE? Well almost free. Give some service for an organization on the list and get a voucher for a day at Disneyland. Jocelyn told me about this offer and she's about the most frugal person I know. The Delgados and Buntings picked Project Linus since we like to make quilts and the kids could help. Want more information? E-mail me at ammacherie@sbcglobal.net and I'll send you the link. When I turned in my quilts yesterday, Michele told me she's answered about 4000 e-mails so far for Project Linus. Her living room was full of blankets and quilts.

We haven't had an enormous amount of recipes submitted for our new recipe blog. (i.e. none). I know you are all recovering from Christmas and that we actually haven't made very many previous posts, so you may not be in the habit of reading this fabulous blog, so here's a little incentive: Every now and then I'm going to offer a GIVEAWAY.
